01. They asked, We Delivered
W We have seen the city of Orlando grow immensely in the past 10 years. That mission could not be completed without the members of Keep Orlando Beautiful.
A few years ago, they were looking for a way to innovate and create a buzz around their mission. Then, the idea of Trash 2 Trends came to life. A night of recycled fashion.
Trash 2 Trends is a fundraiser that brings the fashion and art of local artists together with the environmental community to promote sustainability in an innovative way. The show features local designers who create runway looks from items headed to the landfill.
The money raised by this event goes right back into the Orlando community to increase recycling, prevent litter, and beautify our neighborhoods, green spaces, and business districts.
As part of our effort to get involved in the community, we reached out to the team involved in putting together the event. Fortunately, they gave us the opportunity to take photos of the 2019 winning dress and model.
Lastly, we volunteered to cover the “green carpet” and runway at the event. After the event, we made sure to write a highlight blog. If you want to learn more about the event and see the photos taken, read here
